A week in the Caribbean with the Tucker & Bloom Walden Laptop Backpack
I recently had the opportunity to board a seven day cruise in the Caribbean, traveling through 4 different countries on a photography assignment for a client. Knowing I didn't want to pack too much gear, I took one of Tucker & Bloom's super durable backpacks to be able to travel light and still carry the necessary equipment to get the job done. As a photographer who loves to travel, the Walden Laptop Backpack (in my favorite Camo print) turned out to have all the necessary space I needed for my camera body, 3 lenses, my batteries and memory cards, and even my tripod, as well as enough space to carry all of my personal belongings during my treks through Cayman Islands, Roatan off the coast Hunduras, Belize and Cozumel off the coast of Mexico. Check out some of the photos my buddy Rod Deal and I were able to capture on our adventure through these beautiful tropical landscapes.

Interview With Photographer Shawn Theodore XST
I was first introduced to photographer Shawn Theodore aka XST (pronounced exist) on Instagram and we quickly hit it off. Shawn is a really talented photographer (on and off the iphone) and over the short time we've been aquatinted (how old is instagram anyway?) I have seen a definite narrative develop through his photos. He interacts with the street folks we pass by and spends time hanging in the mostly overlooked nooks and crannies of Philadelphia. With all the disconnection that the internet has brought with it his photos leave me feeling connected to the people and places of Philadelphia. He has stories for almost every photo and believe me he has taken a lot of photos. We caught up recently to discuss his photography, the streets of Philadelphia, and the wild things he's seen while doing one in the other

Braun Product Photos
Nothing excites us here at Tucker & Bloom more than good functional design. In its best form good design can redefine the way we use a product, or reinterpret its function entirely. These Braun products designed by Dieter Rams have a stripped down functional design that just oozes class.

Photonium has a Flickr set featuring some vintage Braun products, designed by Dieter Rams. A lot of these designs look like they could have been produced yesterday instead of decades ago. If the Braun photos interest you, make sure to check out Photonium’s Charles and Ray Eames Flickr set as well.
Ron Van Der Ende Bas Reliefs In Reclaimed Timber
Ron van der Ende’s work in bas relief is astounding. Each of the flat pieces takes on a three dimensional appearance while exhibiting van der Ende’s pieced-together painting style. The subjects are often physical representations of obsolescence and it makes sense that they are created using reclaimed timber.

Photos of the Cobble Hill Tote Bag
Here are a few photos of one of the new bags we will be releasing in our next update. The Cobble Hill Tote is a large chamber canvas tote bag with vegetable tanned leather straps and trim, a side pocket for a phone or an Ipod, and a key organizer. Be on the look out for this as well as other new bags from us shortly.
