This Sunday, join us at Brooklyn Bowl for The Lyrics To Go's Labor Day Party. If you have never made it to Brooklyn Bowl, and live in the NYC area, you really don't quite understand what you have been missing. Brooklyn Bowl as a venue is beautiful, and it succeeds at being a Bowling Alley,a Bar,a Restaurant, AND a Venue, better than most establishments succeed at doing any one thing. The food is great (no, really a bowling alley with good food), they have a wonderful selection of beers on tap (Brooklyn Brewery is literally next door), and the sound design is just right (no need to scream to be heard, or strain to hear). I can't speak on the bowling (I'm usually too busy eating and drinking) but I will tell you that the DJ's this Sunday are the creme de la creme. Music will be provided by Mr. Walt & Evil Dee (Beatminerz), Boogie Blind (Executioners), and The New Beatminerz, in addition to a slew of other DJ's who have clawed their way to the top of the pecking order just to play songs for you. Selection is everything folks, and this weekend we're going for the best. Hope to see you there and a happy labor day to all.
