Grading
Mint(M)
Record Grading Guide:
- Mint (M) – Absolutely perfect in every way. Never been played and usually sealed.
- Near Mint (NM) – The record has been on a shelf between other records. The vinyl looks glossy and clearly has only been played a few times. There are no marks on the vinyl and the whole package is complete.
- Excellent (E) – Same but I’d tolerate very light marks where the vinyl has been in and out of the inner sleeve a few times, or tiny signs of use generally.
- Very Good Plus (VG+) – A few further faults are acceptable, but nothing that really compromises the record visually or audibly. A little rub, light inaudible marks, a little background crackle.
- Very Good (VG) – It’s seen a bit of life, but is still usable. Light pops and clicks, an edge split, light visible scratches. You can still listen to it and enjoy looking at it, but it is visually and audibly USED.
- Good (G) – To be honest you’re making trouble for yourself here, as Good means Bad. I’d only be selling something really desirable in this condition, with a bargain price and a full, no holds barred description to match.
- Poor (P), Fair (F) Attempting to listen will be a disturbing experience. Expect major noise issues, skipping or repeating. The record itself is cracked, badly warped and has deep scratches. The cover is also approaching death.

Product Description
Alonzo Turner "Whoever Said It?" Released on a 7" with a part 1 & 2, this record has been played on dancefloors worldwide by such players as Rahaan, Sadar Bahar and more, with those selectors favoring the part 2 in the most euphoric moments with that incredible vocal half way through. The record has remained hard to come by for most so we are thrilled to have this one out there as an affordable and great sounding reissue.
Here's some info on Alonzo originally written by Omar Krivit via musicismysanctuary.com: "Alonzo Turner was born in Northern California in 1955 and was introduced to music by his church, of which his father was pastor. As a young adult, Turner moves to West Hollywood and at 23, he starts to manage a local rock band while working day and night to write what will turn out to be his first and only release, “Whoever Said It”. The song catches the attention of Dave Crawford, A former producer at Atlantic. Like most stuff on Crawford’s label, LA Records, the single never makes it to the charts but helps Turner make a name for himself in L.A. and Orange County where he performs often. There is only speculation about what happened to ”You’ve Got Something”, the LP on which the song was meant to appear, but five years later Alonzo ends up writing an eponymous piece for Norma Lewis (Shakatak, Charade) on her debut album ”It’s Gonna Happen”. In 1984, struggling to make ends meet from his music career, Turner takes a part time job at a record store, while also pushing garments to an elite clientele in Beverly Hills, even selling clothes to one of Michael Jackson’s designers. In 1991, aged 38, Alonzo Turner will pass away from illness. Written by a loner who lived in a modest flat filled with antiques and expensive art pieces, ”Whoever Said It” is a testament to the idea that love does exist beyond our imagination. While asking who is to blame for spreading the opposite theory, Turner makes this simple yet compelling argument to debunk it: emotions are a motor of action, they literally set us in motion and therefore reality derives its very momentum from them."

incredible craftsmanship and design. sturdy as hell. thank you, A+ product!
It's awesome, well built, sturdy, and looks great.
The craftsmanship is impeccable and it looks sleek af 🔥 customer service experience is top tier 🙆🏽♂️ i hope they make more again in camo or brown, i missed out on the black. Thanks Case!
This is my 4th purchase from Tucker & Bloom. I already have two of the Rhodes Backpacks, and one Mini Messenger bag. As always, the quality of the materials and the thoughtfulness of the design are both incredible. They are pricier than your average bag, but they are a million times better than your average bag, and will last for decades. Plus, they hold vinyl LPs! Couldn't ask for anything more.
Amazing craftsmanship and detailed. Shipping was fast and on time.
The shipping was pretty slow, but when I contacted the company by email they responded within minutes. Probably the best customer service I’ve received online.
My bag has plenty of space and even more pockets than I originally thought there were. Extremely satisfied and will recommend to others. My bag came with several stickers and even a handwritten note from the owner. Thank you.
This is hands down the best DJ bag made on the planet. Super easy to access and store records after you play them.
The industrial engraved metal or brass name plate is the icing on top of the cake! Bulletproof, customizable, and really what sets your bag apart from others.
It’s not by chance that these are the platinum standard of the 45 bag market. Great attention to every single detail. A bag invented and produced by a working dj, co-signed by one of the most respected dj/selectors. I would dare compare these to the original technics 1200’s which were manufactured in Japan!! Quality quality quality!! Customer service is also second to none!!! I’m sure the warranty is great but I have had no issues with either of my other bags of 10+ years! Love the new magnetic snaps on the handles and the etched name plates are a really nice touch! These bags will be passed down for generations because they are built to last!!! Thank you, Case, Tucker & Bloom, and Rich!!! 🙌🏽 💎 🙌🏽 🙏🏽
My original T&B 45s bag (2016) is still going strong ~ best record bag I ever bought ~ period. When I saw a few bags were being made available + with new features ~ it was a no brainer to grab a 2nd bag for me, and one for my brother.
As ever the T&B guys were amazing on the customer service side, and helped with an expedited delivery. Thanks again Case and crew - can’t recommend T&B highly enough. Oscar, London 🇬🇧
I received an older version of this bag 8 or so years ago as a gift from my wife, but the older models didn't have a moveable shoulder pad (it was shearling & sewn ONTO the strap in a fixed position) - it worked great when resting on my shoulder & slung under my arm, but slung around the shoulder & onto my back it was terribly uncomfortable. I saw they now offer the bags with moveable pads, so I messaged them asking if there was any way to get a replacement strap with a moveable shoulder pad (or return it to have it replaced). Case Bloom replied VERY quickly & advised me to send it in & they'd replace the strap to the updated version for free! Such a great bag & amazing company. You have a customer for life!
This is my second RM 45 bag. While I was extremely happy with the first, the team at Tucker & Bloom outdid themselves with the updates for the RM 2.5. The quality material and sturdiness of the bag is exceptional. I've gone to the other side of the world and seen this bag utilized by DJs and shop owners, showing the global reach. Those who know, truly know this is tested and designed by a world class working DJ. Can't wait for my next purchase. Thanks Tucker & Bloom!
I bought this bag for my husband who collects records and loves to buy them when he travels for business. It is very fine quality and made beautifully. He loves the orange lining against the black too!
My order was time sensitive and the company personally followed up with me to make sure it arrived on time.
All in all a great bag and a great experience!
I’d purchased other cookie cutter messenger bags,
some even with zippers but I never liked painted on labels and also totes have always felt flimsy and wanted to fall off of my shoulder. I searched for high quality crossbody messenger record bag and found my North to South! The only thing missing was the option to be able change out the strap if wanting to in the future. Thats okay! Tucker & Bloom it turned out offered custom requests so I inquired about having the option and they knocked it out of the park by adding in D rings and the appropriate clip in hardware which btw is high quality and was worth the extra wait time to get it in. The waxed canvas is super nice compared to others I’ve felt and the body strap is a cool option if needing to secure it to ones mid section and it’s not really visible while wearing the bag. I love the depth and the fact that it can hold well over 10 double LP’s not to forget a space for a laptop and plenty of other pockets inside, etc. I’m all but certain this bag will never need replacing if treating it well. If you choose this bag whether for vinyl or your day to day, you’ll be very pleased.
