When Victrola introduced the Revolution Go turntable to me and asked if we would be interested in trying one out, I was game, but these days I spend more time at my desk than hunting for records in dusty basements.
Was the Revolution Go good for being stuck at your desk?
Toronto based DJ Kaewonder, who is the co-founder of cratery and Live Convention connected with Philly based producer and record nerd Master Sihn. The two share a love of psychedelic library sounds and pulled off an interesting collaborative tape that is full of fuzz drenched basslines and bugged out chops of samples strung together as a densely packed double sided DJ break mix.
It’s been a busy year for Jimpster, with his Soul Spectral and This Thing (with Rich Medina) EP’s both being amongst the best received and highest selling releases of his to date. He has also added his touch to The Sunburst Band, Soichi Terada, Feiertag, Baiana System, The Secret and Retromigration in the form of some massive remixes to boot, as well as having just released an Anthology spanning 4 vinyl.
It's tempting to say that Soul Supreme got a Midas touch. But that doesn't do justice to his hard work and carefully crafted reinterpretations of music by A Tribe Called Quest, Madvillain, Mos Def & others.

The year is off to a great start musically speaking. Madlib's Sound Ancestor release has been on repeat since it dropped. We are looking forward to stocking the release when it's not sold out but recommend you grab a copy wherever you can. File under "modern classic".
The story begins with the original track ‘Back To The Streets’ by Rudy Norman, first out on a 7” as the B side to lead track – ‘Harmony’ in 1980 on New Day Records. It has long been a killer cult cut known in collector circles, with the opening solo Rhodes becoming a sample for underground producers far and wide

The new seven inch release by Amsterdam based Soul Supreme is a nod to the late MF DOOM. It's sure to sell out and to keep heads nodding. We are just glad we got a chance to order some for the shop!
The industrial engraved metal or brass name plate is the icing on top of the cake! Bulletproof, customizable, and really what sets your bag apart from others.
It’s not by chance that these are the platinum standard of the 45 bag market. Great attention to every single detail. A bag invented and produced by a working dj, co-signed by one of the most respected dj/selectors. I would dare compare these to the original technics 1200’s which were manufactured in Japan!! Quality quality quality!! Customer service is also second to none!!! I’m sure the warranty is great but I have had no issues with either of my other bags of 10+ years! Love the new magnetic snaps on the handles and the etched name plates are a really nice touch! These bags will be passed down for generations because they are built to last!!! Thank you, Case, Tucker & Bloom, and Rich!!! 🙌🏽 💎 🙌🏽 🙏🏽
My original T&B 45s bag (2016) is still going strong ~ best record bag I ever bought ~ period. When I saw a few bags were being made available + with new features ~ it was a no brainer to grab a 2nd bag for me, and one for my brother.
As ever the T&B guys were amazing on the customer service side, and helped with an expedited delivery. Thanks again Case and crew - can’t recommend T&B highly enough. Oscar, London 🇬🇧
MASSIVE shoutout to the lifetime warranty & customer support!
I received an older version of this bag 8 or so years ago as a gift from my wife, but the older models didn't have a moveable shoulder pad (it was shearling & sewn ONTO the strap in a fixed position) - it worked great when resting on my shoulder & slung under my arm, but slung around the shoulder & onto my back it was terribly uncomfortable. I saw they now offer the bags with moveable pads, so I messaged them asking if there was any way to get a replacement strap with a moveable shoulder pad (or return it to have it replaced). Case Bloom replied VERY quickly & advised me to send it in & they'd replace the strap to the updated version for free! Such a great bag & amazing company. You have a customer for life!
